Red and the Wolf was a wonderful project created for Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). Together we created a book that was visually bold, inclusive, removing any stereotypical characters.
Red is a young girl who uses her cane and karate skills to defeat the wolf and rescue her granny.

We had a fast turn around for this project and I was limited to bold outlines that would be clear to the visually impaired. I made sure similar shades were not overlapped and kept shading and lighting to a minimal.

This book is available in audio form and together RNIB are creating a set of books rewriting traditional fairy tales to be more inclusive.
